• assembly of substructure on the tank roof
• installation of rainwater collector on the tank roof and drain pipes
• installation of insulation and PVC membrane on the tank roof
• installation of a walkway with an anti-slip surface from the staircase to the centre of the roof and for installations such as manholes, pressure sockets and siphons
• assembly of substructure on tank shell
• installation of insulation and horizontal corrugated sinusoidal sheet 0.7 mm thick, 18 mm deep and 92 mm spaced, the same as the cladding of the existing battery at Torsvik
• work on the tank shell was carried out from a hanging platform
